Photography takes a certain amount of patience and skill to capture the perfect moment. It also requires a little bit of luck, being in the right place and at the right time. Especially when it comes to nature and it’s constant unpredictability. Of course, there are also incredible photos of weather, landscapes, and other natural wonders. Animals tend to be some of the more difficult models to take photos of. However, for photographer Steve Biro, he was able to take one of the most stunning images of an eagle.

Symmetrical Image Of An Eagle
Upon revisiting the Canadian Raptor Conservancy in Ontario, Steve Biro had plans for the local eagle known as Bruce. The last time attempted photo-shoot of Bruce wasn’t what Biro wanted exactly. The water wasn’t cooperating and the images weren’t up to Biro’s standards of perfection. Trying to take a good image of an eagle is pretty difficult. This warranted another visit with Bruce and the results were baffling.
As you can see from this incredible photo just how rare this opportunity was. The sheer amount of talent it takes to capture this image of a eagle gliding across the water. Paired with the eagle’s direct eye-contact with the photographer makes this even better. The amazing amount of symmetry within this photo alone is commendable. It’s almost like someone painted this instead of it being a real image. It’s very surreal and seems like Bruce knew exactly what was expected of him. However, it was more annoyance than it was compliance.
“He was staring quite a bit at me and when I moved away from the rock to get some pics of him landing, he swooped straight to it as if to say, ‘This is my territory, pal.'” Explains Biro.

Bruce, The Stunning Bald Eagle
Steve Biro describes himself as a very amateurish photographer by any means. Biro claims that he wasn’t expecting this image of an eagle to get so much attention. After so many people have shared and commented on the photo via social media, he makes it known that it wasn’t exactly easy. Bruce, the eagle in the picture, was seemingly trying to warn Biro.
“I had decided to get down close to the water on a rock at the edge and he was, I think, annoyed with me being so close. He flew towards me, staring at me often, and then a couple times definitely close enough for me to feel a breeze. Others in the group were commenting on how close he came,” Biro further explains.
This moment that Biro caught moments after the first one shows just how serious Bruce was getting. You can tell from the glaring eye’s of the eagle just how frustrated he was getting with Biro. Even if Bruce is physically upset, the photos of him are still incredible. However, this is probably a good time to mention that it’s important to respect nature. Even if you’re trying to take a harmless image of an eagle, you must be able to recognize body language. Most animals will make it very obvious when they don’t want you around. Biro was lucky in the sense that Bruce didn’t attack him during this photoshoot.
